I cannot refrain from making
some remarks
upon
The letter which
Your Excellency yesterday placed in my hands from the Audit Reader
the first is that he states he has sent in his June and September Quarterly
Accounts for Audit, which was in fact the September Accounts that was being copied out by my Clerk for him
and is not yet rendered; and this Letter is stated the 30th November, instead
of the 2nd January, the date of its receipt. This will not tally with the official declaration as to the date upon
